| Mohair is a very plush, durable and resilient velvet that is shorn from Angora goats. It can be dyed in the most rich, beautiful colors because it takes dye exceptionally well. This a deep rich bay leaf green. It is warm, as it has great insulating properties. It is resistant to moisture wicking, stretching, and creasing. It also is inherently flame resistant in that it will extinguish itself. Mohair is used in theaters as stage curtains and seating, hotel lobbies, commercial decor and in residential settings as drapery, bedding, headboards, pillows, cushions and upholstery. |
